Azerbaijan and China have discussed prospects for cooperation within the upcoming COP29 conference, scheduled for November in Baku, Azerbaijan. The talks took place during a meeting between Azerbaijan's Assistant to the President and Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the Presidential Administration, Hikmet Hajiyev, and China's Deputy Foreign Minister Sun Weidong. The meeting also focused on enhancing bilateral cooperation, operationalizing the Middle Corridor under China's Belt and Road Initiative, and cooperation in the international arena.
