Air India Express, a Tata group subsidiary of Air India, plans to launch non-stop flights from Kolkata to Imphal and Kochi in April. The Imphal flights will run daily, while the Kochi flights will operate six days a week. The airline has introduced new fare options - Xpress Lite, Xpress Value, Xpress Flex, and Xpress Biz - and increased baggage allowances for domestic flights to 25 kg and 40 kg for international flights.
