Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav confirmed that African cheetah 'Gamini' gave birth to six cubs at Kuno National Park, Madhya Pradesh, increasing the cheetah count at the park to 27, including 14 cubs. The reintroduction project aims to increase the cheetah population in India, which had become extinct due to poaching over seven decades. This marks a significant milestone for first-time mother Gamini.
