13-16 yr old students competed in the British School Championships, Sophia Towart (Cumbrian) won Bronze in Judo, her first major competition. She began Judo at 11, joining the DNA Craven Judo Club in Oct 2021. Despite transitioning to a higher weight category, she won three out of four matches. Coach Danny Harper, who won British Judo Coach of the Year in Nov 2023, accompanied her.
