46-year-old Shawn Keane from Dixon died in a motorcycle crash in rural Rock Falls on March 16. The Whiteside County Sheriff's Office was notified of the crash at 7:05 a.m. on Dixon Avenue, and the crash reconstruction unit determined that Keane was driving at a high speed when he left the roadway and hit a utility pole. Assisting agencies included the Whiteside County Coroner's Office, Rock Falls police and fire departments, Illinois Conservation Police, CGH EMS, and Slim 'N Hanks.
