34-year-old Irish captain Peter O'Mahony led Ireland to a Six Nations victory, retaining the title and raising the possibility of retiring from international rugby.

Ireland's Peter O'Mahony declared a Six Nations championship win "not a bad one to go out on" as he left open the possibility of retiring from international rugby after leading the team to victory. O'Mahony, who was named captain for the Six Nations, guided Ireland to a 17-13 win over Scotland, retaining their title and emulating Joe Schmidt's side in 2014/15. The 34-year-old flanker, who made his Test debut in 2012, stated he will have discussions with his family before deciding on his future.
