17-year-old Beaumont teen, Brycelyn Nelson, was arrested for mail theft and evading police. Police responded to a suspicious person call at 3150 West Cardinal Drive, where Nelson fled on foot but was apprehended. Investigation revealed he stole three packages from an apartment and arrived in a reported stolen Kia. Nelson was charged with theft of mail and evasion, and transported to Jefferson County Jail.
