XL Bully dog puppy mistakenly killed by police, prompting a complaint from rescue organization.

A XL Bully dog puppy was mistakenly killed by police after being taken to a secure center in Devon, UK. Sharon Williams of Celandine Wood Animal Rescue, Wirral, Merseyside, brought an official complaint against the police, claiming she was not given the chance to save the dog using an exemption certificate. The ban on XL Bullies has been in place since 1991, with owners now falling under the Breed Specific Legislation (BSL) from February 1, 2024.
