Woman found dead in DeSoto jail cell; sheriff initiates investigation. Inmate Tiffany Allen died in custody at the DeSoto County Adult Detention Center after being arrested during a routine traffic stop for drug paraphernalia. Allen was found incapacitated in her cell and CPR efforts were unsuccessful. The Mississippi Bureau of Investigation is conducting the inquiry, and the sheriff expressed condolences to the family.
