Central African leaders celebrated the 30th anniversary of CEMAC, a regional bloc, to discuss economic growth opportunities and regional integration. The event also considered how the China-proposed Belt and Road Initiative (BRI) could aid development. Since its launch in 2013, BRI has been welcomed by all CEMAC countries as a model for cooperation with China in infrastructure and socioeconomic transformation.
