Rawalpindi, Pakistan is distributing the Nighaban Ramazan Package, a ration package for low-income families, before the 10th day of Ramadan. Over 188,377 ration bags have been distributed, with 70,000 recipients in Rawalpindi. Deputy Commissioner Dr Hassan Waqar Cheema suspended a union council secretary for distributing rations to an elite resident and warned against negligence. A helpline and anti-hoarding campaign are in place to address complaints and enforce the Anti-Hoarding Act, 2020.
