1 person killed, 13 injured, including 5 children, after a truck carrying passengers fell into a valley in Goa, near Quepem town in South Goa district. Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant and Social Welfare Minister Subhash Phal Desai, passing by after a campaign event, rushed to the scene to assist the victims. The victims were taken to the Goa Medical College and Hospital in Panaji for treatment.
