Olowu of Kuta urges President Tinubu to reopen Nigeria-Benin border and exercise caution with IMF policies.

Olowu of Kuta, Oba Hameed Oyelude, has urged President Bola Tinubu to reopen the border with Benin Republic to alleviate economic hardship for Nigerians. The traditional ruler also called for patience regarding the removal of fuel subsidies, believing the benefits will come in time. He advised the federal government not to blindly adopt all International Monetary Fund (IMF) policies, considering their suitability for Nigeria.
