Rajasthan Congress general secretary Amin Pathan was arrested on 17 March for allegedly obstructing a government team from marking his farmhouse in Kota as an encroachment on forest land. Pathan, who was previously in the BJP for 25 years, was arrested after an incident at his house in Anantpura. A court sent him to judicial custody, and a bail plea was rejected. The case against Amin and his wife was registered on Saturday.
