Irish singer-songwriter Rory Gallagher, former frontman of Revs, has leased Lanzarote's oldest Irish bar, The Irish Viking Bar in Puerto Del Carmen, for a 10-year term. With a capacity of up to 180 people, Gallagher and his wife Cara plan to bring their current lineup of musicians from The Corner Bar to perform at the venue, which will undergo renovations and reopen in April.
