Police in Lagos State rescued 50 foreigners, mainly from Cameroon and Gabon, held captive in a duplex in the Edemola area of Epe, Lagos. The foreigners were deceived by a Cameroonian job scam gang, who claimed there were job opportunities in Nigeria. The victims had paid an unspecified amount of money to the fraudsters, with some selling their assets to finance their journey. The police are actively investigating the case.
