Delhi's Arvind Kejriwal government has launched the Delhi Solar Policy 2023, aiming to increase solar power usage in the city. Consumers using over 400 units monthly can install rooftop solar panels and get zero bills. Commercial users can receive up to 50% subsidy on installation, and the government plans to spend ₹570 crore to implement the policy. By 2027, the goal is to have 50% of Delhi's electricity sourced from solar power.
