In the first two months of 2024, Chinese tourist arrivals in the Philippines surged by 235% year-on-year, according to a Philippine lawmaker. The number of Chinese inbound travelers reached 82,314, making China the third-biggest supplier of foreign visitors to the Southeast Asian country.
