Catherine Ferguson, a secondary teacher at Invergordon Academy, was named Highland Heroes' secondary teacher of the year. Ferguson, who recently moved from Golspie High School, was "overwhelmed" to receive the award sponsored by Barratt Homes. She emphasized that it takes a village to raise a child and credited her success to the support of other teachers, school staff, pupils, and their parents.
