Antiques from Middleton Park House, owned by gambler Barney Curley, worth €200,000, to be publicly viewed before auction.

Hundreds of antiques from a Co Westmeath mansion, formerly owned by a well-known gambler, are available for public viewing before going under the hammer next week. The antiques, worth an estimated €200,000, were part of Middleton Park House in Castletown-Geoghegan, which was owned by racehorse trainer and gambler Barney Curley. The mansion has previously hosted celebrities, including American actress Rita Hayworth, during the 1930s and 1940s.
