29-year-old Tyler Perry, Rhode Island suspect accused of assaulting two police officers, was arrested in Maine.
29-year-old Tyler Perry, the suspect accused of dragging two Burrillville police officers during a traffic stop in Rhode Island, was arrested in Maine. Perry, from Woonsocket, was wanted for two counts of felony assault, reckless driving, possession of narcotics, obstruction, and disorderly conduct. The U.S. Marshals Service and the Rhode Island Fugitive Task Force located Perry in Turner, Maine and arrested him without incident. Perry will be arraigned in Maine and awaits extradition to Rhode Island.
