36-year-old Peter Dygert of Greece has been charged with assault after stabbing a 56-year-old man multiple times in the upper body and head on Dewey Avenue. The victim, who is expected to survive, was treated for non-life-threatening injuries at Strong Memorial Hospital. Dygert was identified by the Greece Police Department and arraigned in Greece Town Court, where he was remanded to the Monroe County Jail.
