35-year-old pedestrian Deshon Chester was fatally struck by two SUVs while attempting to cross Wilkesboro Boulevard in Lenoir, NC on Thursday night. Chester was initially hit by a white 1996 Ford SUV, which did not see him standing in the turn lane, and was then hit by a second vehicle, a 2023 Toyota SUV. The Lenoir Police Department and Lenoir/Caldwell County Crime Stoppers are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
