34-year-old Odarie Massiah, a Sioux Falls man, was found guilty of sex trafficking an adult woman by force or coercion in a federal district court. Between July 2020 and September 2022, Massiah recruited and forced the woman to engage in prostitution, using physical and emotional abuse to compel her. He faces a minimum penalty of 15 years in federal prison and a possible maximum of life.
