34-year-old IT worker Luke D'Wit is on trial for the murder of Stephen and Carol Baxter, allegedly using fentanyl and altering their will.
IT worker Luke D'Wit, 34, is on trial at Chelmsford Crown Court for the murder of Stephen Baxter, 61, and his wife Carol, 64, found dead in their West Mersea home last Easter Sunday. Prosecutors allege D'Wit used fentanyl to kill the couple and later changed their will to make himself a director of their shower mat business, Cazsplash. Fentanyl patches were found in D'Wit's backpack when he was arrested.
