20-year-old Gabriel Marinoaica has been found guilty of raping and sexually assaulting a 15-year-old girl at Bournemouth beach in 2021. The victim, who could not swim, had been playing with a ball in the water when Marinoaica asked her age and name before pulling her by the arm into deeper waters. The girl's ordeal ended when one of her friends went back into the water and approached the pair. Marinoaica will be sentenced in April 2024.
