27-year-old Dejan Belnavis, wanted for the murders of Massachusetts National Guard member Chastity Nunez and her 11-year-old daughter Zella, has signed a waiver of extradition in a San Diego, California courtroom. Belnavis, who has been in custody in California since his arrest on March 7, is expected to be returned to Massachusetts to face charges after waiving his extradition rights. The two victims were shot dead while sitting in their parked SUV during the afternoon.
