14-year-old accidentally causes electric car crash at Westfield Liverpool, two men injured.
A teenager accidentally caused a display electric car to accelerate at the Westfield Liverpool shopping complex in Sydney, resulting in the vehicle smashing a glass panel and reversing into a department store, hitting two men. The victims, aged 30s and 50s, sustained minor injuries and were taken to Liverpool Hospital in stable condition. Police have established a crime scene and are investigating the cause of the crash, speaking with a 14-year-old boy present at the scene. SafeWork NSW will also investigate the incident.
