US industrial production barely rose in February, with a 0.1% increase following a 0.5% drop the previous month. Manufacturing output rose 0.8% in February, after a downwardly revised 1.1% decline in January. However, utility output fell 7.5% due to warmer temperatures, while mining production increased 2.2%. Despite the rise in February, factory output was down 0.7% from the same month a year ago.
