Union Home Minister Amit Shah has expressed his respect for the Supreme Court order on electoral bonds, stating that the scheme was introduced to eliminate the influence of black money in politics. However, Shah opined that instead of scrapping the bonds, the scheme should have been improved. The Supreme Court had ruled the bonds scheme, which allowed anonymous political funding, as "unconstitutional" last month.
