Sri Lanka Cricket hires Aaqib Javed as fast-bowling coach until T20 World Cup in 2024.

Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) has hired former Pakistan pacer Aaqib Javed as their fast-bowling coach until the T20 World Cup in June 2024. Javed, who has experience coaching Pakistan, Afghanistan, and UAE teams, will join the SLC team with immediate effect. SLC CEO Ashley De Silva believes Javed's extensive international experience will help Sri Lanka's bowlers prepare for upcoming international competitions.
