The woman, believed to be the baby's mother, and the man are both charged with failure to report a death, with the man also charged with the illegal disposal of a body. The baby was found with an umbilical cord still attached, and an autopsy revealed no signs of trauma or injury. The cause of death is pending further testing to determine if the baby was born alive or stillborn. Police used video surveillance, text messages, and DNA samples to track down the parents.
