Punjab Congress MLA Raj Kumar Chabbewal resigns from party, joins Aam Aadmi Party (AAP). Chabbewal, a prominent Dalit leader, is the second party leader to switch to AAP ahead of LS polls. The AAP is likely to field him from Hoshiarpur's reserved Lok Sabha seat. Chabbewal was formally inducted into AAP by CM Bhagwant Mann after he resigned as the MLA, and also quit Congress.
