Prime Minister Andrew Holness announces over 600,000 residents in Kingston, St. Andrew, and Portmore will benefit from the new Rio Cobre Water Treatment Plant expansion. The $77 million facility, set to be completed within two years, will serve as the second largest in Jamaica, providing 15 million gallons of water to approximately 150,000 customers. The project is managed through a public-private partnership agreement between the National Water Commission and Rio Cobre Water Limited.
