Pakistani Foreign Office denies IAEA high-level delegation visit reports as "fake news."
The Pakistani Foreign Office has dismissed reports of a high-level delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) visiting the country as "fake news." No IAEA official is currently in Pakistan, nor are there any plans for policy talks in the near future, according to the Foreign Office. The last IAEA Director General visit occurred in February 2023, during which both sides agreed to strengthen collaboration in peaceful applications of nuclear science and technology, focusing on agriculture and medicine.
