Nigerian Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, calls for tracking of terrorism funding, citing it as a non-kinetic approach to fighting terrorism worldwide. Meeting with Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) Chairman Ola Olukoyede, Musa emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between the military and other stakeholders, including the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, to combat oil theft and block loopholes contributing to corruption. Musa also lamented the challenges posed by the legal system's delays in prosecuting suspects, which hamper military operations.
