Niger State in Nigeria is allocating N976 million for Ramadan feeding, with the government also procuring assorted grains worth billions of Naira to be distributed across the state's 25 local government areas. A five-day public holiday is declared for civil servants and political office holders to participate in the distribution and monitoring of palliatives and Ramadan feeding in their respective local government areas. Each LGA will receive 7,079 bags of assorted grains, including rice, maize, millet, sorghum, and beans, to be distributed to religious leaders, security agencies, and political parties.
