Marvel Studios parted ways with X-Men '97 showrunner Beau DeMayo. Reasons for the separation are unclear, but DeMayo had completed work on both Season 1 and Season 2 of the animated series before his exit. Marvel Studios TV head, Brad Winderbaum, praised DeMayo's work and stated that Disney still plans to move forward with a third season.
