Jagannath University student Fairuz Abontika accused her classmate and a teacher of harassment in a Facebook post before her suicide. Following her death, protests took place demanding justice. The university suspended assistant professor Deen Islam and student Raihan Siddique Amman while forming a five-member probe body led by Professor Jakir Hossain to investigate the matter.
