Ireland's Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment, Simon Coveney, remains optimistic about the India-EU Free Trade Agreement (FTA), expecting significant progress in the second half of the year. Bilateral trade between India and EU currently stands at around €10bn annually. Ireland, which has €1bn annual trade with India, is seeking to strengthen economic ties and deepen business collaboration, focusing on sectors such as fintech, aviation, and medical technology.
