An independent committee was established by the Perak Health Department to investigate sexual harassment allegations involving healthcare personnel at the Raja Permaisuri Bainun Hospital in Ipoh. The allegations were made in a letter, and the Health Ministry views these accusations seriously, having zero tolerance for sexual harassment at the workplace. The investigation is ongoing.
