Facebook-parent Meta won a Brazilian court order reversing an earlier ruling that barred it from using its name in Brazil due to confusion with another company. Meta, formerly known as Facebook, which changed its name in 2021, argued that it owned the rights to the name in Brazil and that the law should be followed regardless of business decisions. The company can still appeal the decision.
