Birmingham council has approved a £200m, 47-storey tower block development on Broad Street, designed by Glancy Nicholls Architects for Regal Property Group. The 145-meter tall project, dubbed The Essington, will feature 525 apartments and is set to become the tallest building in the Broad Street tower cluster. Preconstruction is expected to begin in the third or fourth quarter of this year.
