Alberni-Clayoquot Regional District launches West Coast Transit, BC's first public transit system between Tofino and Ucluelet, starting April 2. Three 18-seat buses from northern Alberta will provide 7 round trips on weekdays and 4 on weekends, with some buses stopping at Ucluelet First Nation's community centre. The district hopes BC Transit will eventually take over the service.
