2 additional suspects, Joshua Denton (21) and Kayvion Williams (18), were arrested on March 15, 2024, in St. Louis for their connection to the murder of Jason York in Independence, Kansas. The Kansas Bureau of Investigation (KBI) and Independence Police Department secured two arrest warrants for murder, bringing the total number of suspects in custody to five. All five suspects are now awaiting extradition back to Kansas.
