Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, dismissing his claims to be Bitcoin's inventor.
The UK High Court has ruled that Australian computer scientist Craig Wright is not Satoshi Nakamoto, the pseudonymous creator of Bitcoin. The Crypto Open Patent Alliance (COPA) sued Wright, who had claimed to be the inventor of Bitcoin and the author of the 2008 Bitcoin white paper. Judge James Mellor dismissed Wright's claims, stating that the evidence presented "overwhelmingly" supports his decision. The ruling may impact a separate lawsuit in which Wright is accused of infringing on the intellectual property rights of 26 developers.
