Seattle Seahawks acquire QB Sam Howell from Washington Commanders in a trade involving draft picks. Seattle receives Howell, a fourth-round pick (No. 102), and a sixth-rounder (No. 179), while Washington gets a third-round pick (No. 78) and a fifth-round pick (No. 152). Howell, who threw 21 interceptions and was sacked 65 times in the 2022 season, will compete with Geno Smith for the starting quarterback spot in Seattle.
