Passengers sue Boeing, Alaska Airlines, and others over January fuselage breach incident on a 737 jet, causing injuries.
More passengers are suing Boeing, Alaska Airlines, Spirit AeroSystems and unidentified individuals for a January incident in which part of an Alaska Airlines Boeing 737 jet's fuselage blew out, causing a door-sized hole. One of the plaintiffs, Cuong Tran, says his life was saved by a seat belt. The lawsuit, filed in Washington's King County Superior Court, alleges air rushed out of the hole, pulling on passengers and causing injury.
