Nigeria Customs Service intercepts 940 live ammunitions and Indian hemp in Ogun state. The ammunition, hidden in bags of gari, was smuggled into Nigeria from the Republic of Benin. The Comptroller of the command, Ahmadu Shuaibu, revealed that the smugglers had concealed the bullets inside gari sacks with the intent to deceive and beat border security. The suspects abandoned the contraband and escaped through the bush path.
