Montreal comedy festival Just for Laughs and affiliated companies owe millions in unpaid debts, surpassing the previously disclosed $22.5 million owed by one company. Insolvency trustee PwC revealed an additional $5 million in unpaid debts, with creditors including hotels, venues, production companies, and performers. The parent company, Groupe Juste pour rire inc., sought creditor protection last month.
